Maharashtra IPS officer Subodh Kumar Jaiswal sworn in as CBI chief

New Delhi, May 26: IPS officer Subodh Kumar Jaiswal, who was on duty as Maharashtra's DGP (Director General of Police), has been appointed as the new CBI Director. Subodh Jaiswal, the new Director of CBI, has decades of experience working in the Special Forces of the Intelligence Force and in the Research and Analysis Division. 58-year-old Subodh Jaiswal was instrumental in the investigation of the Malegaon bomb case and the Telagi scam.
