- Purchase only essential items for Monday, Thursday
Mysore: The entire lockdown will be in effect from May 29 to June 7 in the backdrop of increasing corona in the district. Only two days are allowed to purchase essential items.
Mysore District Collector Rohini Sindhuri has ordered this. Monday and Thursday only to purchase essential items. The entire lockdown remains in effect for the rest of the day. The order will go into effect from May 29 to June 7 at 6 p.m. Vegetable and groceries are allowed on Monday and Thursday from 6 am to 12 noon.
The bank and Indian insurance plan are open for business from 8 am to 12 noon. There is absolutely no restriction on all kinds of activities except the milk booth, medical service, vegetable and fruit shops under the hop comms, and the fair price shops.
During the prohibition period only freight vehicles are allowed and all other traffic and people are restricted. District Collector Rohini Sindhuri said in the order that the provisions of the Disaster Management Act - 2005 are being implemented under Article 188 of the Indian Penal Code.
